To be charmed implies that something out of the ordinary has began to affect you. Not necessarily explicable or inexplicable. Just something a little unusual.
To be charming implies that you possess the ability to charm.
I am not convinced that everyone can be charming. I believe everyone can be charmed.
Charm may be fleeting, it may endure for a long time. I am not sure why.
Some people really try to be charming, and honestly they suck.
I can and have been charming, and I have definitely been charmed.
I believe it all starts with an attitude and a smile, but that's just me.
Making the charm last is the key. If you are really the person behind that smile and that attitude, it will.
