I think it is odd that the things we use to attract and bait animals stinks so badly. As a human when we smell something that stinks, we head the other direction. Animals run right toward stinking stuff. Need some examples?
Smell a teenager who hasn't showered in a day.
Deer are attracted to urine.
Some humans throw up at the smell of cooking greens.
Catfish are attracted to chicken liver, the more rotten, the better.
A good fart will evacuate a crowded room of people.
raccoons and dogs are attracted to trash.
Every guy knows, bad breath ends a kiss very quickly.
Bass are attracted to powerbait, and that is rank.
Why? I don't know but I thought it was interesting.
